repairman

Appliance restoration worker

A repairman is a person whose job is fixing things—appliances, machines, equipment.

The word typically applies to someone who comes to your home or business: The repairman said the dishwasher needs a new pump.

Though gendered, repairman remains common; repairperson exists but sounds awkward to most speakers.
