reeler
Line retrieval device
A reeler is someone or something that reels.
The word most often describes a person who winds thread, yarn, or film onto a reel, or a machine that does the same work.
In fishing, a reeler handles the reel.
Less commonly, a reeler is someone who reels—staggers or lurches unsteadily: The drunk reelers spilled out of the bar at closing time.
