recook

Heat food twice

To recook is to cook something again, typically food that was undercooked the first time or that needs reheating with actual cooking rather than just warming: The chicken was still pink inside, so I had to recook it.

Sometimes used for leftovers transformed into a new dish rather than simply reheated.
