reblogging

Sharing someone's post

Reblogging is the act of sharing someone else's post on your own blog or social media feed, preserving the original content while adding it to your own page.

The practice originated on Tumblr but the concept extends to similar features on other platforms.

When you reblog something, you typically retain attribution to the original poster, and you may add your own commentary above or below the shared content.

I spent an hour reblogging cat videos instead of working.
