readthrough
Full text rehearsal
A readthrough is a session where performers read a script aloud from beginning to end, typically early in rehearsals before blocking or memorization: The cast gathered for the first readthrough of the new play.
In molecular biology, readthrough refers to transcription or translation continuing past a normal stop signal, producing an extended protein or RNA molecule.
