rally points
Designated meeting spots
Rally points are designated locations where people gather after dispersing or in emergencies.
Military units use rally points to regroup after patrols or if ambushed: If we get separated, the rally point is the old mill.
The term extends to any prearranged meeting spot for groups expecting to scatter—protesters, hikers, or teammates in video games.
