raid leader
Strike team head
A raid leader is the person who organizes and directs a group of players through a raid—a large-scale cooperative challenge in online games, especially MMORPGs.
The role involves coordinating strategy, assigning positions, calling out mechanics during boss fights, and managing the chaos of ten to forty players working toward a common objective: Our raid leader called for everyone to spread out before the explosion phase.
Good raid leaders combine game knowledge with the ability to herd cats.
