radio networks
Airwave media organizations
Radio networks are groups of radio stations that broadcast shared programming, allowing content to reach wider audiences across multiple markets.
A network might distribute news, talk shows, or music programming to affiliated stations nationwide.
The term also applies to the broadcasting companies themselves: CBS was one of the original radio networks before expanding into television.
