race medal
Runner's earned keepsake
A race medal is a commemorative medallion awarded to participants who complete a running race, typically a marathon, half-marathon, or other organized distance event.
Unlike competitive medals given only to winners, race medals celebrate finishing: She has a wall of race medals from her marathons.
Designs often feature the event name, distance, and year.
