queerphobic

Hostile toward queerness

Queerphobic describes hostility, prejudice, or discrimination toward people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or otherwise not heterosexual or cisgender.

The term functions as an umbrella covering what might separately be called homophobia or transphobia: queerphobic legislation, queerphobic violence.

Someone holding such attitudes is a queerphobe.
