quad skate
Four-wheeled skate
A quad skate is a roller skate with four wheels arranged in a two-by-two configuration—two in front, two in back—as opposed to inline skates, which have wheels in a single row.
Quad skates dominated recreational and rink skating through most of the 20th century and remain popular for artistic skating and roller derby: She prefers quad skates for dancing at the rink.
