roller-disco
Seventies skating fad
Roller-disco is a style of disco dancing performed on roller skates, or a venue where such skating takes place.
The activity peaked in popularity during the late 1970s and early 1980s, combining the era's disco music and fashion with skating: The old rink hosts roller-disco nights on Saturdays.
The term evokes nostalgic kitsch.
