Chinese fitted dress
A qipao is a form-fitting Chinese dress with a high collar and side slits, traditionally made of silk with elaborate embroidery or patterns.
Also called a cheongsam, it became fashionable in 1920s Shanghai and remains iconic in Chinese formal wear: She wore a red qipao to the banquet.
