pumpable

Able to transfer

Pumpable describes something that can be moved through a pump—typically liquids or semi-liquids with the right consistency: The concrete needs to be pumpable, not too thick or too dry.

The term appears in industrial and technical contexts where viscosity matters: pumpable grease, pumpable sludge.

If something isn't pumpable, it's too thick, too chunite, or otherwise resistant to being forced through pipes.
