pronated
Twisted inward, anatomically
Pronated describes a position where the palm faces downward or backward, achieved by rotating the forearm so the radius crosses over the ulna.
In anatomy and sports medicine, a pronated grip has palms facing the body or floor: Pull-ups with a pronated grip work different muscles than supinated ones.
Overpronation in running refers to excessive inward rolling of the foot.
