pro-feminism
Supporting gender equality
Pro-feminism describes support for feminist goals—gender equality, women's rights, reproductive freedom—by those who may not identify as feminists themselves, typically men.
A pro-feminist stance acknowledges these causes without claiming the label: He describes himself as pro-feminist rather than feminist.
The term lets allies signal support while respecting that feminism centers women's experiences.
