prevalence
How common something
Prevalence is how widespread something is—the extent to which it exists or occurs within a population or area.
In epidemiology, prevalence measures the proportion of people with a condition at a given time: the prevalence of diabetes among adults.
More generally, it describes how common anything is: the prevalence of smartphones, the prevalence of corruption in local government.
