preslicing

Dividing in advance

Preslicing is cutting something into slices before sale, serving, or use.

Bread, deli meats, and cheese are commonly sold presliced for convenience: presliced ham, presliced bread.

The term also applies to preparing food in advance: I'm preslicing the vegetables for tomorrow's stir-fry.
