pour-overs

Slow coffee method

Pour-overs are a method of brewing coffee by slowly pouring hot water over grounds held in a filter, allowing gravity to draw the liquid through.

The technique gives the brewer control over water temperature, pour rate, and extraction time: She makes pour-overs every morning with a ceramic dripper.

The term also refers to the resulting cups of coffee themselves.
