postpositions
Grammar's trailing connectors
Postpositions are words that function like prepositions but come after the noun or pronoun they govern rather than before it.
English relies almost entirely on prepositions, but postpositions appear in phrases like two years ago or the whole world over.
Many languages, including Japanese, Korean, and Hindi, use postpositions as their primary way of showing grammatical relationships between words.
