possessive
Unwilling to share
Possessive describes an excessive desire to own or control something, especially a person: He's possessive of his girlfriend.
In grammar, possessive refers to forms showing ownership—the 's in John's book, or pronouns like my, your, his, her, its, our, their.
The possessive can signal either literal ownership or looser relationships: my doctor, her birthday, its meaning.
