pitchback
Solo practice net
A pitchback is a piece of sports training equipment—a net stretched on an angled frame that returns a thrown ball to the thrower.
Used mainly for baseball and softball practice, it lets players work on throwing and catching alone: He spent hours in the backyard with his pitchback.
