pistol squats
Single-leg deep bends
A pistol squat is a single-leg squat performed with the non-working leg extended straight out in front of the body, parallel to the ground.
The movement requires significant strength, balance, and flexibility—lowering all the way down on one leg while keeping the other elevated.
It took me months of practice before I could do a clean pistol squat.
