Inset video window
Picture in picture is a display feature that shows a second video source in a smaller window overlaid on the main screen.
Television sets introduced the technology to let viewers monitor one channel while watching another.
The feature now appears on computers and phones: I kept the game on in picture in picture while I worked.
Often abbreviated PiP.
