photophile
Drawn to brightness
A photophile is an organism or person that thrives in or is strongly attracted to light.
In biology, photophilic organisms—certain bacteria, algae, and plants—grow best in bright conditions.
Applied to people, it describes someone who loves sunlight or well-lit environments: As a photophile, she wilted during the dark winter months.
