permanent ban
No return allowed
A permanent ban is an indefinite prohibition from a platform, community, or activity—typically online.
Unlike temporary suspensions, a permanent ban has no set expiration: After repeated harassment, she received a permanent ban from the forum.
The term appears most often in gaming and social media contexts.
Whether "permanent" truly means forever depends on the platform's policies and appeals process.
