party members
Those sharing allegiance
Party members are people who belong to a political party, typically through formal registration or dues payment.
The term often carries connotations of loyalty and discipline, especially in reference to Communist or other single-party systems where membership implied ideological commitment: Party members were expected to follow the official line.
In democratic contexts, it's more neutral: Only party members can vote in the primary.
