palm readings
Lifeline divination sessions
Palm readings are attempts to divine a person's character or future by examining the lines, mounts, and other features of their hand.
The practice, also called palmistry or chiromancy, treats the palm as a map of personality and fate: She offered palm readings at the county fair.
Whether taken seriously or as entertainment, palm readings remain a staple of fortune-telling.
