overserving
Pouring too much
Overserving is giving someone more alcohol than they should have, typically said of bartenders or hosts who continue pouring for visibly intoxicated patrons: The bar got sued for overserving the driver who caused the crash.
Establishments can face legal liability for overserving customers who then cause harm.
