overlearned
Practiced past necessity
Overlearned describes a skill or response practiced so thoroughly it becomes automatic, requiring little conscious attention.
A pianist's scales become overlearned; so does touch-typing or riding a bicycle.
In psychology, overlearning refers to continued practice beyond initial mastery: The emergency procedures were overlearned so they'd hold up under stress.
The term can also describe knowledge so familiar it's taken for granted.
