overhead storage
Cabin luggage space
Overhead storage is storage space located above head height, typically in compartments, shelves, or bins mounted on walls or ceilings.
The term appears most often in contexts where floor space is limited: airplane cabins have overhead bins for carry-on luggage, kitchens have overhead cabinets, and garages use overhead racks.
Please stow your bags in the overhead storage before takeoff.
