Boarding procedure is the established process by which passengers enter an aircraft, ship, or other vessel.
Airlines typically board by zones or groups, calling passengers in sequence: They announced the boarding procedure would begin with first class.
The term also applies to any systematic method for getting people onto a vehicle or into a secure area.
