offences

Acts against law

Offences is the British spelling of offenses, the plural of offense.

An offence is a violation of law or rule: minor offences, criminal offences.

It also means something that causes displeasure or hurt feelings: I meant no offence.

In sports, offence is the attacking side of play, though this sense more often uses the American spelling.
