notification overload
Too many pings
Notification overload is the state of receiving more alerts, pings, and digital notifications than one can reasonably process or respond to.
The constant stream from apps, emails, and messages creates anxiety or numbness, often prompting people to disable notifications entirely: I turned off all my alerts—notification overload was killing my focus.
