Mat hold technique
A nelson is a wrestling hold in which one or both arms are thrust under the opponent's arm from behind and the hands clasped at the back of the neck.
A half nelson uses one arm; a full nelson uses both, locking the opponent's head forward.
The hold appears in professional wrestling and is used in self-defense techniques.
