natured

Having a disposition

Natured appears almost exclusively after a hyphen, forming compound adjectives that describe someone's temperament or disposition.

A good-natured person is cheerful and easygoing; an ill-natured one is irritable or mean-spirited.

The pattern extends to other descriptors: sweet-natured, mild-natured, even-natured.

Without a prefix, natured is rare and sounds incomplete, since the word exists primarily to specify what kind of nature someone possesses.
