intrinsic

Part of itself

Intrinsic describes qualities that belong to something by its very nature, not added from outside: The intrinsic value of gold comes from its properties, not its price.

Intrinsic motivation comes from within—you do something because it interests you, not for external rewards.

The opposite is extrinsic.

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with the idea.
