multipane
Divided window style
Multipane describes something with multiple panes—separate panels or sections.
Most often it refers to windows divided into several glass sections: a multipane window with six lights.
In computing and software, multipane describes interfaces with distinct viewing areas: The multipane layout shows the folder tree on the left and file contents on the right.
