Multiple rotating columns
Multi-vortex describes a tornado or other rotating storm system containing two or more smaller vortices orbiting within the larger circulation.
These sub-vortices can cause particularly erratic damage patterns, with intense destruction in narrow paths while areas just feet away remain relatively untouched: The multi-vortex tornado left a chaotic damage swath across the subdivision.
