multi-effects

All-in-one unit

Multi-effects refers to an electronic device or software that combines multiple audio effects—distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, and others—in a single unit.

Guitarists and other musicians use multi-effects processors instead of assembling separate pedals: I sold my pedal board and switched to a multi-effects unit.

The term appears as both noun and adjective: multi-effects pedal, multi-effects rack.
