mukbangers
Online feast performers
Mukbangers are people who broadcast themselves eating large quantities of food, typically while interacting with an online audience.
The practice originated in South Korea, where *mukbang* combines words for eating and broadcast.
Mukbangers often consume elaborate meals or extreme portions, with viewers tuning in for the sounds, the spectacle, or the parasocial companionship: She's one of the most popular mukbangers on YouTube.
