moshers
Crowd collision enthusiasts
Moshers are people who mosh—engaging in the aggressive, physical dancing at rock and metal concerts where participants slam into each other in a crowd.
The term can also refer broadly to fans of heavy metal or alternative rock music, identified by their style: band t-shirts, combat boots, long hair.
The moshers formed a pit near the stage.
