moraliser
Unsolicited virtue teacher
A moraliser is someone who lectures others about right and wrong, typically in a self-righteous or tedious manner.
The word carries a note of criticism—moralisers are seen as preachy rather than genuinely helpful: Nobody wants to hear from yet another moraliser.
British spelling of moralizer.
