manslayer
One who kills
A manslayer is one who kills another person.
The word is archaic or biblical in tone, appearing in older legal texts and scripture: The manslayer shall flee to the city of refuge.
Unlike murderer, manslayer doesn't necessarily imply criminal intent—it may include accidental or justified killing.
