lunar rover
Satellite surface vehicle
A lunar rover is a vehicle designed to travel across the Moon's surface.
The term usually refers to the battery-powered cars astronauts drove during later Apollo missions, though it also covers unmanned robotic vehicles: The lunar rover allowed astronauts to explore terrain miles from the landing site.
Also called a Moon buggy.
