lugeing
Racing downhill supine
Lugeing is riding a luge—a small sled on which a person lies face-up and feet-first, racing down an icy track.
The sport appears in the Winter Olympics.
The word also applies to recreational sledding in this position: We spent the afternoon lugeing down the hill behind the cabin.
