loglines
Screenplay elevator pitches
A logline is a one- or two-sentence summary of a film, television show, or other narrative, designed to convey the central conflict and hook potential viewers or buyers: The logline was compelling but the script fell flat.
Loglines distill a story to its essential premise, often used in pitching to studios or as marketing copy.
