loft style
Open warehouse aesthetic
Loft style describes an aesthetic inspired by converted industrial spaces—exposed brick, high ceilings, visible ductwork, open floor plans, and large windows.
The look emerged from artists occupying abandoned factories and warehouses in urban areas.
Now loft style appears in purpose-built apartments and homes that deliberately incorporate these raw, industrial elements: Their loft-style condo has exposed beams and polished concrete floors.
