little penguin

Small Antarctic waddler

The little penguin is the smallest penguin species, standing about 30 centimeters tall, native to the coastlines of southern Australia and New Zealand.

Also called fairy penguins or blue penguins for their slate-blue plumage, they nest in burrows and emerge at dusk, making evening "penguin parades" a tourist attraction.
