linked list

Sequential pointer structure

A linked list is a data structure in computing where each element contains a pointer to the next element in the sequence, forming a chain.

Unlike arrays, linked lists don't require contiguous memory—elements can be scattered and still form an ordered collection.

This makes insertion and deletion efficient, but accessing a specific position requires traversing from the beginning: We implemented the queue using a linked list.
